Toy Fight

As you will see here, our two boys are getting to the point that they do not like to share. Sam is usually the dominator but every once in a while Ben fights back.

Happy 9 Month Birthday, Ben and Sam!

We cannot believe that the boys are already 9 months old.  We have come so far since December.  We can hardly believe that only earlier this year we were traveling back and forth to the hospital to feed the boys bottles and hope that they drank 20ml of milk.  Now they are eating us out of house and home with their fruits, vegetables, meat and endless bottles.  Sam now weighs 14 lb 12 oz and Ben weighs 15 lb 5 oz.  Ben is definitely a bigger boy than Sam, but Sam proves to be the tougher one and the bigger bully.  Sam enjoys stealing Ben's binky from his mouth, pulling Ben's hair, stealing toys out of Ben's hands, and sticking his fingers in Ben's eyes.  We think one day Ben will actually fight back and show Sam who is the "bigger" boy after all.   Sam always seems to be a couple weeks ahead of Ben at accomplishing new feats.  Sam is now crawling and pulling himself to standing.  Ben still just sits and has no interest in crawling yet.  However, Ben did beat Sam at one thing.  Ben has a tooth and Sam does not.  We think this may be a blessing because Sam may use a tooth for more than eating if he had one.  Sam is clearly our crazy kid with his screams, zerberts, and other outbursts while Ben is our sensitive & laid back one.  Aunt Julie is still watching all three kids for us which has been a god-send.  The boys absolutely love her.  She is amazing with them and we don't know what we will do without her come January.

Yay, Sam Scoots!

P.S. The background noise is quite extreme. We are completely immune to it but realized it is quite loud when watching this video. And the squealing is not our dog in pain, it is Ben talking.

They Finally Hold Their Own Bottles!

What will we do with all our spare time now that the boys can feed themselves?????
